Cahoon Hollow Beach is a beach in the Cape Cod National Seashore in Wellfleet, Massachusetts. It was named for the Cahoon family who had lived on the Outer Cape for many years.
This is a dramatic beach with steep dunes leading to the beautiful sandy beach. There are large dunes on either side of the beach giving the beach a secluded feel. The water is cooler than bayside beaches. This is a beach more popular with young adults than other crowds, partially because of the steep access, and the unpaved parking lots, but primarily because of the proximity to the Beachcomber, one of the most popular bar and restaurants on the lower cape.
